Become a Member
One of the many things I like about HRFN is how you put care into bringing different voices, perspectives and experiences; this is not easy to find in a network where an important part of its membership is from the global north.
HRFN members include any eligible institution that supports our mission and has formally requested membership or pays annual dues. Eligible institutions include:
- Grantmaking institutions, such as private foundations, corporate foundations, family foundations, public foundations, community foundations, donor-advised funds, collaborative funds, quasi-governmental funding entities, and operating foundations
- Individual philanthropists with significant giving programs
- Philanthropic consultancy, support, advisory, or hosting organizations
- Grantmaker affinity groups or donor networks
If your institution is interested in becoming an HRFN member, please contact us.
If you work for an eligible institution and would like to be included in our activities, please complete the form below. You will receive a member log-in so that you can access our database of human rights grantmaking and will be added to our e-newsletter, event emails and any working groups that you select. We will review all applications with the above eligibility criteria in mind and may contact you for more information.
