Advancing Human Rights Research

Launched in 2010, Advancing Human Rights is a collaborative research initiative dedicated to tracking the evolving landscape of global human rights funding. Led by Human Rights Funders Network (HRFN), in partnership with Candid, Ariadne, and Prospera, this research offers the most comprehensive analysis of philanthropic and government funding for human rights worldwide. Each year, we delve into critical questions: Which issues receive funding and which are overlooked? Where do human rights issues overlap and intersect? And how does funding change over time?

Better Preparedness takes the guesswork out of funding in crisis. Our tools are tested by our community and ready to use today.
