Debbie has worked for 15 years in social justice funding, including at Women’s Funding Network and UN Women’s Fund for Gender Equality. Her expertise ranges from database development to grantmaking to knowledge management, grounded in global feminist principles and practices. Debbie was born in Mexico, raised in the United States, and has followed her curiosity to study and work around the world in places such as Bolivia, the Netherlands and Antarctica. She most recently worked on a COVID response program on the Navajo Nation.
