Mighty Women: performance of groups on the socio-environmental agenda
Hosted by Casa Socio-Environmental Fund
Casa Socio-Environmental Fund invites you for the launch of our study on Women Defenders in South America — “Mighty Women: performance of groups on the socio-environmental agenda – experiences in South America”. The publication, produced through a partnership between the Casa Fund and the GAGGA (Global Alliance for Green and Gender Action), marks the first five years of direct support to women environmental defenders in Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay.
With innovative features, the support made by the GAGGA Alliance has revealed the natural potency of the creative, sensitive, and fulfilling force of women in their search for historically denied rights and the struggle for environmental justice, such as the right to clean water, food sovereignty, a healthy and balanced environment, and balance of necessary resources to sustain life of present and future generations.
