This event intends to gather stakeholders in New York this September and feature a panel of experts discussing themes from the UN General Assembly’s Resolution about the ICJ advisory opinion. They will focus on topics like human rights, intergenerational equity, among other relevant themes that can contribute to achieving climate justice. Additionally, the event aims to talk about what we hope the ICJ advisory opinion will achieve, how it can help resolve climate challenges, and ensure the safety of both people and the planet.
